The Housemaid's Secret. Freida McFadden

Well, well, well... This is the second book and surprisingly, I didn't like the story as same as in the first book.

This time Millie is in bigger problems and in my opinion, too surreal. Although at the end we discovered her secret, which I didn't have faith in know it, because nothing in the book tells you she has one.

I think I'm going to stop reading Freida books, until next year the third one from the housemaid had had been published.

    Well... The title does. xD

This is the problem with American authors: They sell both romance aand thrillers like daily bread and the same sometimes you notice the bread is industrial, these books lose their quality, especially if they are a series. Sadly, literature for most of the publishing houses there and in Europe prioritise quantity over quality. And sometimes, writers who can actually make a living out of writing see that as an easy way out as well, forgetting about quality too.
Let's hope the next one is better, but I'm afraid it won't be. Fingers crossed for you to prove me wrong.
